Tips for Recycling Your Scrap Metal with Us:
- Please separate all of your material as thoroughly as possible, as this will assure you get paid the most when recycling your scrap metal.
- For example, remove all steel/plastic from your aluminum and stainless steel, and separate the different grades of insulated copper wire. You would want to keep house wire such as Romex separate from wire like extension cords. Or remove the brass joints from your copper tubing. Otherwise, when purchased together, the lower price or an average is frequently used.
- We do pay low grade dirty items such as irony aluminum or irony stainless steel at a premium to light iron; however, if your material is excessively contaminated with rubber/plastic/wood/ or is simply more so steel than it is stainless or aluminum, it will be purchased at a light iron price!
- We enjoy speaking with our customers. Whether you simply have some feedback for us or want to learn more about the different grades of scrap metal before you get here, give our office a call!
